How emotionally intelligent are you? Performance Coaching International have devised a short test to help you gauge your own emotional intelligence.

Emotional Intelligence

This self-assessment is by no means an exhaustive measure of your Emotional Intelligence, both because of its length and the fact that it is self-scoring. It is more about getting a feel of what emotional intelligence means for you. Please rate your abilities on a scale of 1-4 where:

Self Awareness -
Emotional awareness, accurate self-assessment and self confidence

I recognise my emotions and their effects on others
I know my own strengths and limits
I have a strong sense of my self worth and capabilities
 
Self-Regulation -
Self control, trustworthiness, conscientiousness, adaptability and innovation

I am comfortable with novel ideas, approaches and new information
 
Motivation -

Empathy -
